Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” is heading to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, for three shows this weekend, where she promises to make the whole place shimmer. Swifties are also expecting sparks to fly, as the Sunday show will be her 13th time headlining at Gillette. Thirteen is well-documented as her lucky number.
Her first performance at Gillette, in 2010, was her first time headlining an NFL stadium, the beginning of an era. Her 2011 performance at the stadium was featured in the music video for “Sparks Fly.”
“Foxborough is the first place that I realized it was a possibility to play” to more than 100,000 fans “in two days,” she reportedly told the crowd at a past show according to the Boston Globe. “My time in Foxborough will be filed under one of the greatest times in my life.”
The lots will open at 2:30 p.m., the gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and the event will start at 6:30 p.m. Swift has been taking the stage at about 8 p.m. The show — with a 44-song set list — lasts about three hours.
