Meghan Trainor and husband Daryl Sabara discuss their Mounjaro journey

Meghan Trainor and husband Daryl Sabara have opened up about using Mounjaro to help them lose weight.

The 31-year-old All About That Bass singer has been married to Spy Kids actor Sabara, 32, since 2018 and they are proud parents to sons Riley, 4, and Barry, 21 months.

The singer and actor have openly discussed their love for each other in countless interviews and stressed how they can hardly bear to be apart.

Taking on life together, the couple have now explained why they both decided to use weight loss injections, with Trainor saying on their Workin’ On It podcast, “We did (fitness programme) 75 Hard after Riley was born and, man, did we crush.

“Then, we heard more and more of our friends – and even our doctors – were on Mounjaro and Ozempic.”

Noting that she read that such injections can cause unpleasant side effects, she added, “I could do that, but when I asked my doctor, I was like, ‘Tell me everything.’ I did the research, and I felt safe.”

Chiming in, Sabara said, “So, I did it, too,” with Meghan affirming, “Daryl and I both do everything together. And we started that journey.”

The couple went on to explain they take a low dosage of the medication to curb hunger pangs and follow an exercise and diet plan to maximise their body transformations.

Trainor added, “I feel amazing. Like this thing is incredible. And I have no shame being on it and talking about it.”
