Kelsea Ballerini has praised Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s off-stage kiss.
In a TikTok video posted on Sunday, the Legends singer captured herself clapping in reaction to a viral video of the Lover singer running off stage at a concert to kiss the Kansas City Chiefs player.
“Me watching our boy Travis (Kelce) show up for our girl Taylor,” Kelsea captioned her TikTok clip. “2023 (is) the year of running offstage and kissing our men. Let’s gooo (sic).”
A video from Taylor’s Buenos Aires concert on Saturday showed the singer waving to fans as she walked off stage. She then spotted Travis standing next to a black tent, ran down a walkway towards him, wrapped her arms around his neck, and pulled him in for a kiss. The crowd went wild at the public display of affection.
Also during the Saturday concert, Taylor tweaked a line from her song Karma to honour the sports star.
“Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,” she sang, replacing “guy on the screen” with “guy on the Chiefs”.
Travis, who watched the concert from the VIP tent with Taylor’s father Scott Swift, was captured holding his head in his hands and blushing at the line.
