Written by on March 2, 2024

Beyoncé completes a second week at Number 1 with her country smash TEXAS HOLD ‘EM, blowing past competition from Teddy Swims, Benson Boone and Noah Kahan.

Last week, the energetic track became Beyonce’s sixth UK Number 1, and her first in 14 years.

Teddy Swims moves up to a new peak of Number 2 with his breakthrough single Lose Control, although he will have to muster all his strength to fight for Number 1 next week.

Following two weeks of massive upward trajectory, viral sensation Djo (aka Stranger Things actor Joe Keery) scores his debut UK Top 5 single with the hypnotic End of Beginning (5), leaping six places. Following a viral trend on TikTok, the track – originally released in 2022 – has caught fire online, having only made its first Top 40 entry last week.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign break into the Top 10 for the first time together with Carnival (9), it becomes Ye’s 22nd UK Top 10 single and Dolla $ign’s fourth.

Rising to yet another peak this week, Ella Henderson and Rudimental’s ALIBl shifts up one to Number 11, and will surely be looking to break into the Top 10 next week.

Feel the rain on your skin! As Anyone But You gets a digital release, Natasha Bedingfield’s Unwritten lifts two to Number 12, a brand-new peak for 2024. Originally, the iconic pop song reached Number 6 in 2004.

Calvin Harris & Rag’n’Bone Man jump six with Lovers in a Past Life (13), while SZA secures a Top 20 debut with new single Saturn (15). It becomes SZA’s 13th UK Top 40 hit.

Ahead of this weekend’s BRIT Awards, Rising Star winners The Last Dinner Party fly 11 places to a brand-new peak with Nothing Matters (16), which could rise further next week following this weekend’s ceremony.

Kygo & Ava Max are up three this week on Whatever (17), as Central Cee claims a 24th UK Top 40 hit with I Will (18), a brand-new entry.

US singer-songwriter Michael Marcagi continues to make moves with Scared To Start (22), leaping nine, and Good Neighbours’ debut single Home hits a new peak, rising four places week-on-week (26).

Big congrats to Croydon rapper Pozer, who scores his debut Official Charts entry today with Kitchen Stove (29), while US singer Bryson Tiller claims his debut solo Top 40 single (and fourth overall) with Whatever She Wants (31).

Songwriter-turned-artist Muni Long also celebrates her first UK Top 40 single with viral hit Made For Me (37) and finally, Irish DJ duo NewEra also enter the Top 40 for the first-time ever today as Birds In The Sky climbs four (40).
