The Boston Celtics haven’t come back from a historical 3-0 deficit yet, but NBA fans are starting to believe it’s going to happen – even Draymond Green.
On the newest episode of The Draymond Green Show, Green gave his reaction to the Celtics forcing a Game 6 against the Miami Heat.

“Boston smells blood,” Green said. “You can see it in their eyes. They smell blood. They joking all the sudden, it’s this, it’s that, it’s rock-paper-scissors after the game in the locker room. It’s all of the stuff. They smell blood!”
Surprisingly, Draymond Green seems to actually want the Celtics to beat the Miami Heat, despite the rivalry with Golden State. The main reason why? So that he won’t have to hear 3-1 lead jokes anymore.
“Can they close the deal,” Draymond questioned. “I don’t know man, I don’t know. First time from 3-0, that’s an interesting one. First team to comeback from a 3-0 deficit. We would love to see it. Maybe I won’t have to hear about 3-1 anymore if this team comes back from 3-0.”
It’s really tough to say if the Boston Celtics can pull off the comeback against the Miami Heat. On one end, they’re clearly the better team on paper against the Heat, but they just play worse basketball. On the other end, no one has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit for a reason. One thing is for sure though, if the Celtics win Game 6, then they’re going to be the favorites for Game 7.
NBA Twitter
Miami produced a furious comeback from a late deficit to seemingly end Boston’s hopes of forcing Game 7 with a one-point lead with three seconds on the clock. But the drama continued down to the wire as Derrick White attacked the rim and put back Marcus Smart’s missed three-point attempt with a fraction of a second remaining to keep the season alive.
It was an instant classic of a finish and it had NBA Twitter in rapture.
