Paris Jackson announces engagement

Paris Jackson is engaged to marry music producer Justin ‘Blue’ Long.
The 26-year-old, who is the daughter of Michael Jackson, has taken her relationship with the music engineer and mixer to the next level after around two years of dating.
The singer and actress revealed the news as she celebrated Justin’s birthday with a series of snaps on Instagram on Friday.
“Happy birthday my sweet blue. doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and i couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. thank you for letting me be yours. i love you (sic),” she captioned the post.
Her photo carousel featured a snap of Justin getting down on one knee with a jewellery box. In follow-up images shared on her Instagram Stories, Paris got down on her knees to kiss and embrace Justin and he then placed a large diamond ring on her finger.
The Let Down singer didn’t specify when the proposal took place, but she was spotted wearing the sparkler when she attended Paris Fashion Week in September.
The musician was first linked to Justin, who often works with her band, in 2022.
She was previously in a relationship with her former bandmate Gabriel Glenn for two years before they split in 2020.
Discussing the break-up during a subsequent appearance on Red Table Talk, Paris said, “It was the deepest I ever loved someone. It was the most intense I’ve felt so far and the most intense betrayal I felt so far and experienced.
“It’s definitely closed me off to that, I’m very careful with who I spend time with now and very guarded and trying to protect myself.”
