50 Cent has superimposed a photo of Donald Trump on the iconic cover of his album Get Rich or Die Tryin’.
Following the assassination attempt on the former president, the rapper displayed the edited image during his weekend concert in Boston.
The artwork loomed large as he performed the song Many Men from his 2003 debut album.
Trump’s face was photoshopped onto an image of the hip hop star’s shirtless, chiselled body as he stands behind glass that appears to have been fractured by a bullet.
The track Many Men – which references 50 Cent’s own near-death experience when he was shot nine times in New York in 2000 – presented as a nod to the shooting at the former president’s campaign rally on Saturday.
“Many men wish death upon me / Blood in my eye, dawg, and I can’t see / I’m tryin’ to be what I’m destined to be,” the lyrics go.
The rapper also posted a photo of the viral cover on social media, writing, “Trump gets shot and now I’m trending.”
The former president dodged death in Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon when now-deceased gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks shot at him with an AR-style rifle.
Crooks was killed by Secret Service snipers after firing the rounds.
